you'll find a large office building with that company's name on it in RTP.
Formerly a rural agricultural area, the Raleigh-Durham area has
transformed itself into truly the Silicon Valley of the east coast. There's an historic restored train depot in
Rowland, a pre-civil war church, Farmer's Museum, Robeson County Museum, the
Native American Resource Center featuring arts and crafts from tribal Lumbee
Indian life. There's also a planetarium to visit and the Lumbar State Park
featuring the Lumbar River designated a National Wild and Scenic River by
the National Park Service.There is still plenty
of agriculture around the North Carolina Capitol as evidenced by the
fantastic Farmer's Market that operates in the southern part of the city.
Everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to great seafood at the
restaurant there is available every day. In the
Cary
area, a rapidly, (perhaps too fast), growing area of million dollar homes,
you'll find many bicycle paths and recreation at some great parks. The
entire RTP area is a dream for serious mountain bikers.
